Thanks for the text of your web site Paul. I listened and read all of the material and found it very impressive and enlightening. I have a much better understanding of what it is you do - well done,

Back in the late '80s I worked at Boeing and Deming's philosophy was all over the place among workers. Management seemed to like that workers were talking about "quality," but seemed to stop there.

I wonder how his ideas apply to the web and other new technologies.

Personally I think there are many opportunities for managers to trust workers with specific expertise to lead their teams, instead of trying to force digital pegs into analog holes.

Go figure: Sometimes leadership means letting others have (some) control.

I may have 40 emails when I first open them during my morning office ritual, but I find myself opening yours first. It always begins my day feeling more centered, introspective, and most importantly aware of those around me and how I interact and react to them. My heart is just in a better place. Thanks Dan.

I'm glad that idea resonates. We can't not bring our souls with us because it's already with us whatever we are doing or not doing. Bringing consciousness to that notion is what is missing. Thanks for taking the time to comment and offering your suggestions. Much appreciated!

I'm really struck by the notion of "bringing your soul into business." That so aptly sums up what Lionheart does. It suddenly casts into perspective the times in my career I've made a decision from a "pragmatic" place, and then later realized that my heart had a different answer. In the world these days, it feels like the lines between personal and professional are much more integrated than they used to be. Your program teaches us how to stop struggling with that.

Thanks, Jac. I assume your comment was on the last post about the leadership in Washington, D.C. My comments cover all the participants in the debacle on both sides of the aisle. There is a better way.

Just read this older post, Dan, and glad I did. A reminder to all of us to look closer in our own backyards. An eye opener for me was doing Meals on Wheels a number of years ago and seeing the filth inside some apartment buildings in downtown PDX. It made homeless living look inviting. Out of site, out of mind is sadly alive and well in the Rose City.

Even Mother Teresa had to learn to care for herself first in order to help others. It's a tough one for most of us. I've come to realize that the degree we show compassion to ourselves is the degree we are able to show compassion to others. Glad you are feeling better, Dan ... on multiple levels. Thanks for the message.
